Homecoming Dance FAQs
Important information on the Nov 20th Homecoming Dance.

The basics: This year’s Homecoming Dance is confirmed for November 20th, 2021. It will be a semi-formal Masquerade, although attendees are not required to follow this theme. The event will take place at Broadway Pier, beside the USS Maine Museum.
Cost: Tickets cost $75 this week, $85 next week, and $95 the week of the dance, cash only. Homecoming proceeds go towards reducing the cost of Prom tickets at the end of each year.
What it includes: Access to two types of photo booths, an arcade area, caricature artists, a henna station, and a tarot card reader. Tickets do not cover transportation.
Who can attend? Homecoming Dance is open to all students grade 9-12 and guests below the age of 20, provided they purchased tickets. However, students on the non-privilege list cannot purchase tickets. Non-privilege students are those with: Two or more total Ds or Fs in the last progress report, from either citizenship or academics. Uncleared Saturday schools due to excessive absences or tardies. Library fines from overdue books. You can still clear Saturday schools and library fines in time for the dance.
How to buy tickets: At the ASB, check eligibility to purchase tickets. Then, buy in cash. Bring this paperwork with you. Olympian students: Choice contract and student permission slips. Guests: guest ID, choice contract and guest permission slips). Paper versions are also available in the ASB. The last day to buy tickets is Nov 18.

On Homecoming day:
- Bring your ID.
- Bring negative COVID test dated Nov 17 or later. Rapid tests are acceptable. COVID pool testing is also available in school. (Access code: SWEETWATER-OLYMPIAN )
- Get your own transportation.
- Food and drinks are not allowed inside.
- Cannot exit and reenter the venue.
- Leave by 11:15 pm, or you’ll get Saturday school.
